Assistant Foreign Minister H E Lolwah bint Rashid Al Khater met with Special Representative of the United Nations Secretary-General for Children and Armed Conflict Virginia Gamba, who is visiting the country.
They reviewed the cooperation between Qatar and the UN, the situation of children in areas of armed conflict, and ways to protect child victims of armed conflicts.
The meeting also touched upon the joint cooperation between Qatar and the analysis and communication center of the Office of the Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General for Children and Armed Conflict, which will be opened at the UN House in Doha.
