Doha: The designated authorities referred 161 people to the Prosecution for Covid-19 precautionary measure violations on Monday (May 9, 2022).
158 people were reported for not wearing masks and 3 for not installing the Ehteraz app.
The measures are in line with the Cabinet decision on Covid-19 restrictions.
"In line with the cabinet decision based on Law No. 17 of 1990 regarding infectious diseases, the competent authorities referred several people to the Prosecution for violating Covid-19 preventive and precautionary measures in force," Ministry said in a statement.
