Al Sadd’s athletes and officials pose for a photograph after winning the Athletics Amir Cup at Suheim Bin Hamad Stadium in Doha yesterday.
Al Sadd accumulated 71 points from 12 events to emerge champions.
Last year’s champions Al Ahli finished second (66 points) while Al Rayyan ended in third place (62 points). Al Arabi finished in fourth place (61.5 points) while Al Khor came in fifth spot (50 points).
Al Gharafa ended the event with 41 points in sixth place.
