HMC changes visitor policy as Covid-19 precautionary measure

Doha: Due to the rising number of COVID-19 cases in Qatar, Hamad Medical Corporation said that “it has become necessary to make important changes to our visitor policy.”

From Friday, February 11, 2021 no visitors will be allowed at the following facilities: 

• Communicable Disease Center 

• Hazm Mebeireek General Hospital 

• The Cuban Hospital 

• Mesaieed Hospital 

• All facilities of the Enaya Specialized Care Center

All other HMC facilities will be available for visitors only between 12pm and 8pm, with one visitor at a time for a maximum period of 15 minutes.

All visitors will be required to wear a mask, show their Ehteraz app and undergo body temperature checks.

“These changes are made for the safety of our patients and visitors. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation,” HMC said.
