Doha: Clark White played flawless golf to emerge victorious in Flight A of the golf tournament organised by Qatar Golf Lovers at the Doha Golf Course over the weekend. John Durnin carded an impressive score to win Flight B of the competition.
Forty golfers participated in the tournament that was played on a Strokeplay format.
JB Roy and Jasjit Butalia were declared runners-up in Flight A and Flight B respectively. Sanjeev Gupta won the ‘closest to pin’ award, Phil Meagan won the ‘longest putt’ award, Nathaniel Hayes won the ‘longest drive’ award and Dwayne Smith won the ‘closest to rope’ awards. QGL hosted a prize distribution dinner for all golfers and gave away prizes to all winners.
