Real estate deal value rises 12% in Oct: Ezdan

The value of real estate transactions in Qatar increased 12 percent to QR2.8bn in October compared to QR2.5bn in September, said Ezdan Holding in a monthly report yesterday.
However, on Year-in-Year (YOY) basis, transactions declined 17 percent compared to same month in 2015. Total value of transactions stood at 3.4bn in September last year.
The open plots accounted 31.2 percent of the total transactions with a value of QR856.6m in October. Ready to move buildings accounted 69.8 percent of the total transactions.
Ready to move building included 316 housing units, 24 multi-used facilities, eight residential buildings, three housing complexes and a commercial building.  The number of deals increased 220 percent to 506 deals in October compared to 158 deals in September. These  buildings accounted 68.8 percent of total deals with 353 deals last month while the share of open plot of land was 30.2 percent with 153 deals.
