DOHA: The Doha Chapter of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) hosted a seminar to mark the Chartered Accountants (CA) Day. Around 150 Finance professionals and stake holders at various businesses and organisations in Qatar, attended the event.
The speaker Jaafar Ali Jaffar Al Sarraf made a presentation on ‘how successful people have turned the challenges into opportunities.’ He explained the audience how business challenges could be met through market penetration, product development, market development and diversification strategy.
Jaafar demonstrated to the finance professionals the ways to mitigate the internal and external challenges especially the present political challenges faced by the country.
C A Rupalakshmi Setty, Chairperson of the Doha Chapter gave an update on the activities of the Doha Chapter.
The Doha Chapter also released a half-yearly e-magazine to mark the 70th Platinum Jubilee Celebration of ICAI. Rupalakshmi also took this opportunity to launch the theme of the Fifth Annual International Conference “Sustainability & Growth in the Digital Era” to be held on 25th and 26th of October 2018 which will have business leaders and other professional speakers deliberate on the theme from across the Globe.
