236 caught violating Covid-19 precautionary measures

Doha: The designated authorities referred 236 people to the prosecution for Covid-19 precautionary measure violations on Sunday (May 8, 2022).

229 people were reported for not wearing masks and 7 for not installing the Ehteraz app.

The measures are in line with the Cabinet decision on Covid-19 restrictions.

"In line with the cabinet decision based on Law No. 17 of 1990 regarding infectious diseases, the competent authorities referred several people to the Prosecution for violating Covid-19 preventive and precautionary measures in force," Ministry said in a statement.
