Itlaq and Oman’s Tsaheel sign MoU

The second edition of ‘Made in Qatar’ exhibition to be held outside the country, witnessed the signing of an MoU between the Doha-based Itlaq Business Management Company (Itlaq) and the Omani Center for Businessmen Services (Tsaheel) in Muscat.

The agreement was signed by the CEO of Itlq Dr Latifa Ali Al Darwish and Tsaheel’s CEO Mohamed Fadl Al Baloushi, on the sidelines of the four-day expo, which concluded yesterday. The cooperation agreement aims to help both sides’ companies willing to set up SMEs in Qatar and Oman.

The expo, held under the patronage of the Prime Minister and Interior Minister H E Sheikh Abdulla bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani, was organised by Qatar Chamber in cooperation with the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, QDB strategic sponsor and in collaboration with Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The four-day expo was opened by the Minister of Commerce and Industry H E Ali bin Ahmed Al Kuwari and President of Oman’s Authority for Investment Promotion and Exports Development on Sunday with the presence of a number of QC board members and businessmen from both countries.

The exhibition witnessed a high turnout by Omani businesspersons who were introduced by Qatari companies and businesspersons on the Qatari products. On the sidelines of the event, the Qatari-Omani Business Forum was also held. It reviewed enhancing cooperation relations and witnessed signing many MOUs and agreements between both countries’ companies. P15
