Al Jabri claims second spot as Qatar win lion's share at World FIA Smart Driving Challenge

Qatari driver Abdul Aziz Al Jabri yesterday finished second in the overall individual rankings as Qatar won the lion's share of the awards of the first edition of the World FIA Smart Driving Challenge in both team and individual categories. 

Qatari drivers who led their respective teams were Abdullah Al Khelaifi, Adel Hussein Abdulla, Nasser Al Kuwari. The FIA   Smart Driving Challenge is a global competition that rewards smart, safe and environmentally friendly driving. 

Using a smartphone app connected to a digital platform, regular motorists can compete to become the world’s smartest driver by using their own car. The challenge was created by the FIA to encourage and challenge everyday motorists to adopt smarter, cleaner and safer driving behaviour.
