Four RAF Typhoons deploy to Qatar

Doha, Qatar: Four RAF Typhoon aircraft have deployed from RAF Coningsby to Qatar, in order to bolster the UK’s air presence in the Middle East. 

The Royal Airforce said this in a statement adding that the aircraft will integrate with the existing UK Typhoon force already in the country and operate alongside personnel from 12 Squadron and the Qatari Typhoon squadron.

It further added that the aircraft will support Bahraini and Emirati air defence.
