DOHA: South African Ruan Jordaan emerged Division One winner while Division Two was won by Kenza Gilmour at the first of a series of seven tournaments Sponsored by Royal Air Maroc, hosted by the Doha Golf Club on Saturday.

Jordaan shot a gross 69 playing off a handicap of -1 for a total of 38 stableford points. His round included 5 birdies which kept him two shots ahead of Mikkel Mathiesen who finished in second place.

In Division two, Gilmour scored a stunning 44 points to finish 5 points clear of Kevin Gaghan who finished in second place. This was Kenza’s second win in eight days as she continued her run of good form.

The series of seven tournaments will have an Order of Merit style format. Players have the opportunity to win prizes in each event whilst earning points in the race to be crowned as the champion for the entire series. Each event will be played under the stableford points format.
