Doha: Qatar expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of the bombing that took place near the Embassy of the Russian Federation in the Afghan capital, Kabul, that led to deaths, including Russian diplomats, and several injuries.
In a statement issued yesterday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated Qatar’s firm position on rejecting violence and terrorism, regardless of the motives and reasons. It also stressed the importance of providing the necessary protection for all diplomatic missions and their staff, as one of the pillars of the international system.
The Ministry expressed the condolences Qatar to the families of the victims, and the governments and people of the Russian Federation and Afghanistan, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
