London--Travis Burns is the first to admit his form has not been where it should be since joining St Helens but the return of his former Penrith teammate Luke Walsh is set to change all that.
The 31-year-old Burns, who joined the Saints from Hull KR in the off-season, has struggled with form and fitness in the first half of a Super League season that has seen the defending champions slip to four defeats but still sit second in the standings.
However, the return of Walsh this month from a broken leg has seen Saints begin to hit top gear, the former Panther bagging a superb double in their win over Hull KR last time out.
And with his good mate and compatriot alongside him in the halves, Burns admits it is high time he began to show the Saints faithful what he is all about.
"I wouldn't say I am disappointed with my form, but I know that I can play a lot better," he said.
"It's a new squad, and a new system for me and there is a bit of pressure coming into a successful side. But it's getting better all the time and I am happy that we are winning games.
"Luke (Walsh) has come back and we have played three games together, he has certainly surprised me by just how well he has played straight away.
"We know each other's game inside out, we are good friends off the pitch and on the pitch we are working on our combination and I will be back to my best."
Saints will look to stretch their winning run to three when they travel to Catalans Dragons on what will be a sombre weekend of rugby league action.
A minute's silence will be held across rugby league this weekend as a mark of respect for Keighley's Wales international Danny Jones.
The Rugby Football League are calling on all professional and community clubs to honour the Cougars stand-off, who died of a suspected cardiac arrest during last Sunday's League One game at London Skolars.
Jones leaves behind wife Liz and five-month-old twins but Keighley's own match against Coventry at Cougar Park on Sunday will go ahead at the request of the family.
