Doha: Director of Protocol Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador H E Ibrahim Fakhroo, paid a condolence visit to the official residence of the Kenyan Ambassador H E Paddy C Ahenda, who passed away on Monday. Among those who paid their respects to the late Ambassador were diplomats and heads of mission attached to Qatar, government officials, community leaders from various expatriate groups, and many more.
The condolence book is open for signing at the embassy and at the Official Residence until Thursday. Ambassador Washington A. Oloo, Charge d’Affaires at the Embassy in Qatar, said the Kenyan government and community are grateful for the overwhelming support given to the late diplomat and added that the body of the deceased would be repatriated to Kenya this weekend.
