Doha: The State of Qatar has expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of the bombing that targeted a mosque in the city of Peshawar in northwestern Pakistan, which led to the death and injury of scores of people.
In a statement issued yesterday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated Qatar’s firm position rejecting violence and terrorism, regardless of the motives and reasons. The Ministry also stressed the State of Qatar’s total rejection of targeting places of worship and intimidating innocent people.
The Ministry expressed the State of Qatar’s condolences to the families of the victims and to the government and people of Pakistan, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
