Doha: President of the Republic of Poland H E Andrzej Duda and his accompanying delegation visited yesterday the National Museum of Qatar (NMoQ), on the sidelines of his current visit to the State of Qatar.
He was welcomed by Chief Executive Officer of Qatar Museums Ahmad Musa Al Namla. President Duda toured the museum’s halls and reviewed its collections.
During the visit, he viewed various galleries, which include the beginnings of the geological development of the Qatar peninsula, its natural environments, the ecological and rock carvings in archaeological sites, the life of the people of Qatar on land and coasts, and the digital exhibition.
The President of the Republic of Poland was also briefed on the most important pieces and collections related to pearls and jewellery design, in addition to the galleries of modern Qatari history since the discovery of oil and gas.
