Total inaugurated Al-Reyada Total Energy Seminar yesterday at Sheraton Hotel, Doha, yesterday. The seminar is a platform for experienced professors, and young professionals with passion and drive for oil and gas related topics to engage in dialogue.
During the seminar, Total’s experts and lecturers with a wealth of experience provided insights and interesting perspectives to participants on topics ranging from oil and gas challenges, renewables, petrochemicals to innovation, leadership, health, safety and corporate social responsibility.
This year, about 75 students and professors from Qatar University, Texas A&M University at Qatar, Hamad Bin Khalifa University, College of the North Atlantic, Qatar, as well as young professionals and engineers from Qatari oil and gas companies.
‘Our goal is to build bridges between the oil industry and academic circles by delegating professors and experts who deliver technical or business-related content. This comes as a part of our contribution to the human development pillar of Qatar National Vision 2030. Al Reyada seminar provides students with insight and practical knowledge, and the opportunity engage with other participants on industry related challenges,” said Laurent Wolffsheim, Managing Director of Total E&P Golfe and Country Chair.
