DOHA: Doha Municipality has announced the reopening of Legtaifiya Park starting Sunday, August 3, 2025, following a full month of maintenance and development works.
These efforts included several improvements aimed at enhancing public safety and upgrading the quality of facilities and services provided to park visitors.
During the closure, comprehensive maintenance was carried out on the children’s play area floors. Damaged sections were fully replaced, and the surfaces were repainted to ensure a safe and attractive environment for children.
Playground equipment was inspected, repaired, and reinstalled in line with the highest standards of safety and quality. The park’s pedestrian walkways were also renovated—damaged sections were restored and repainted, and distance markers were added to better serve walking enthusiasts.
Doha Municipality expressed its gratitude to the public for their cooperation and understanding during the maintenance period, reaffirming its commitment to providing a safe and comfortable recreational environment that meets the community’s expectations and supports quality of life.
