Stallions Cricket Academy ends tour to England

The Stallions Cricket Academy, the leading Youth cricket Academy in Qatar concluded their 3rd tour to England.

This is after very successful previous tours of England, Dubai, Australia, Oman and Sri Lanka. The main sponsors of Stallions UK tour this year was Infoventures Company and Al Tawfeeq Travels.

The academy played a total of 24 matches with leading clubs and academies in Leeds, Manchester and London. The tour party consisted of more than 60 that included players, coaches and parents. Four teams represented Stallions in the UK Tour this year.

The three age groups of the teams were Under11, Under 13, Under 15 and an Adults Team. The tour comprised of matches and cricket related educational tours that enriched the children’s knowledge. They visited places such as Headingly and Lords Cricket grounds where many ICC world cup matches including the final was played recently. One of the other major highlights was getting top level advice given by coaches in UK with hawk eye analysis.

Commenting on the tour of Stallions officials said: “This tour provided our players a rare opportunity to experience the game against quality opponents on top facilities in UK and on grass turf. Whilst our tours provide a lifelong experience for our players it’s also was a great opportunity for us to carry Qatar’s name to the international cricketing circle.”
