Jassim bin Rashid Al Buainain, Secretary-General of the Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC), chaired an important meeting with key officials of sports bodies.
During the meeting, the minutes of the previous meeting were reviewed while Qatar’s participation in previous and upcoming sessions was also reviewed, it was announced.
Matters relating to Qatari players and athletes set to feature in top international events including the 2022 Tokyo Games were also discussed.
The hosting of the first edition of the ANOC International Beach Games from October 12 to 16 was also discussed.
Officials from the tennis, handball, volleyball, basketball, taekwondo, judo, karate, squash, badminton, wrestling, swimming and cycling federations were present during the meeting.
