DOHA: Doha Insurance Group (DIG) has obtained the final approval from Qatar Central Bank to establish a representative office in Beirut-Lebanon under the name of “Mena Re Life “ to extend the Group’s reinsurance reach in the International arena.
It is part of the DIG’s strategy of geographic expansion to open new markets and build on its strong credit and financial rating.
The Group noted in a regulatory filing yesterday that it had completed all the formal procedures of establishing the office in accordance with the laws of the Lebanese Republic.
