MAias Alyamani and the MAqam Ensemble in cooperation with Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra will perform at a concert titled ‘To Doha With Love’ at the FBQ Museum Amphitheatre on Saturday at 5pm.
The performers share the highest level of musical education and are specialized in performing traditional Middle-eastern and Arab music with a fusion of Western performance practices. This free for all concert in celebration of Qatar National Day, sponsored by Fifty One East and Plaza Hollandi, will be held at the recently launched FBQ Amphitheatre located near the museum exit and entrance.
Those interested to watch the concert may visit and explore FBQ Museum ahead of time as the event will be on a first come first served basis and subject to capacity. The new FBQ Gallery is hosting IAID’s visual & studio arts student winter exhibition: Heart of Passion. The exhibition space will remain open during museum hours until January 1 next year. The concert is part of the winter series of events.
