Doha: English Football legend David Beckham is currently visiting Qatar, many posts on social media showed. He was seen touring the Souq Waqif with some Qatari officials and was seen in videos posted on social media taking a photo with the installation of César's Pouce (thumb sculpture ). He also visited the Souq Waqif art centre.

He has played for big European clubs like Manchester United, Real Madrid and PSG. He is the current president & co-owner of Inter Miami CF and co-owner of Salford City.
He retired from football in May 2013 after a 20-year career, during which he won 19 major trophies.
