Doha, Qatar: Qatar General Electricity and Water Corporation (Kahramaa) has called on customers to take special care of the electricity and water number plates fixed to the walls of homes and buildings when carrying out any maintenance or renovation works.
In a public advisory posted on its social media accounts, the corporation stressed that these plates must not be damaged, removed, covered or altered in any way. Customers will be held fully responsible for any harm caused to the plates or the information displayed on them.
“Dear Customer, if you are carrying out maintenance work at your home or building, please make sure that the Electricity and Water Number Plate fixed to the wall is not damaged. Do not remove, cover, or change the information on the plate, as you will be held responsible for any damage. Thank you for your cooperation,” Kahramaa stated in its message shared on social media platforms.
