Doha: The Internal Security Force (Lekhwiya) has been awarded a Diamond Rating by the Gulf Organization for Research and Development (GORD) for the district cooling plant at its Duhail camp.
The certification was presented during a ceremony held at the ISF Officers Club at Duhail Camp, in the presence of HE Staff Major General Mohammed Misfer Al Shahwani, Deputy Commander of Lekhwiya.
Dr. Yousef Mohamed Alhorr, Founding Chairman of GORD, presented the certificate to Major Engineer Mohammed Yousef Al Qattan, Director of the Buildings Affairs Department at Lekhwiya.
The plant received the prestigious rating following comprehensive evaluation and auditing processes that confirmed its outstanding performance in sustainability and operational efficiency.
Over more than 8,500 operating hours, the facility recorded top environmental performance among projects certified under the Arcadia certification system, which specializes in energy center efficiency.
