Doha: The Ministry of Environment and Climate Change (MoECC) has taken samples from the waterhole near Simaisma Beach for ladies which have turned to an orange colour.
In a video published on social media, the Ministry stated that it has received a video note via Twitter from citizen Mohammed Saleh Al-Mohannadi regarding the incident.
"The department’s water quality monitoring team has taken and collected samples from the site, to be analyzed and a report on water color change in coordination and cooperation with the concerned departments and authorities will be taken," MoECC said in a separate tweet.
It also affirmed that “necessary measures will be taken as soon as possible after confirming the source of the color or any effects on public health.”
