Engineer Saleh Abdullah Al Sharafi, Acting CEO of Waseef Asset Management Company
Doha: Barwa Real Estate Group announced yesterday the appointment of Engineer Saleh Abdullah Al Sharafi (pictured) as Acting CEO of Waseef Asset Management Company, which is wholly owned by Barwa Real Estate Group, effective December 1, 2020.
Al Sharafi is one of the distinguished Qatari cadres in the Group, and he is currently a member of the Board of Directors of Qatar Project Management (QPM) a subsidiary of the Group. He is also the Director of Portfolio Management at Waseef Company, and has more than 28 years of leadership and management experience in many institutions that belong to the sectors of real estate, facilities management, maintenance services and environmental safety, in addition to his experience in establishing and leading private businesses in the local market.
Al Sharafi holds a master’s degree in environmental engineering from Florida, USA, holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Qatar University, and is a fellow member of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers and the Water Science and Technology Association.
