Al Zaeem Stud’s Dhi Qar was ridden to a commanding victory in the Al Beshairiya Cup by Rashid Ali Al Saaq at Al Rayyan Racecourse, yesterday.
The Abdallah Said Al Balushi-trained six-year-old horse won the 1,900m feature race at the 7th race meeting of the season by almost 5 lengths.
AJS Al Aredh (Purebred Arabian Handicap 85-105), Midrass (Purebred Arabian Handicap 0-85), Three Diamonds (Thoroughbred Handicap 0-80 - Class 4 - Qatari Riders), Zazoom (Local Purebred Arabian Handicap 0-70), Eledeed (Thoroughbred Handicap 45-65 - Class 6) and Straight Way (Local Thoroughbred Maiden Plate) also emerged victorious yesterday.
