Qatar Central Bank (QCB) issued treasury bills for three, six and nine months, with a value of QR600m.
According to a statement published by QCB, the treasury bills are distributed as follows: QR300m for three months at an interest rate of 0.25 percent, QR200m for six months at an interest rate of 0.30 percent , QR100m for nine months at an interest rate of 0.33 percent.
The issuance is part of a series of issues executed by QCB on behalf of the Government of Qatar and in accordance with the schedule prepared by both QCB and the Ministry of Finance. Treasury bills are issued through auction for banks operating in Qatar.
