Doha: Minister of State for International Cooperation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs H E Lolwah bint Rashid Al Khater yesterday held a virtual meeting with Assistant Minister for Foreign Affairs of Australia H E Tim Watts.
During the meeting, they discussed cooperation and ties between the two countries, especially in the fields of development, economy and sports.
The Minister of State for International Cooperation wished, during the meeting, success for Australia and New Zealand in organising the FIFA Women’s World Cup Australia & New Zealand 2023.
The Australian Assistant Minister for Foreign Affairs congratulated the State of Qatar for the distinct organisation of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.
He also voiced his appreciation for the State of Qatar for hosting 10,000 Australian fans.
