Doha: Finland defeated Qatar in the fourth round of the 44th Chess Olympiad which in Chennai, India.
It was Qatar's second defeat, having won two matches in the event.
Meanwhile, the International Chess Federation (FIDE) will hold on Sunday its General Assembly on the sidelines of the Olympiad.
It is noteworthy that Qatari former world champion and Grandmaster Zhu Chen has been serving as the Treasurer of FIDE after being elected at the previous General Assembly which took place in Georgia, four years ago.
