The Qatar Swimming Association announced that the State of Qatar will host the general assembly meetings of the International Swimming Federation (FINA) in 2021.
President of the Qatar Swimming Federation, Khaleel Al Jaber emphasised that the international federations and FINA have great confidence in the State of Qatar, pointing out that Qatar’s hosting of this world congress is a confirmation of its position and ability to host major events.
Al Jaber pointed out that the FINA general assembly meetings in 2021 will witness the election of a new board of directors of FINA, which will govern the federation for four years.
