Doha: The hour-long Doha Balloon Parade is cancelled tonight, May 3, due to bad weather conditions. This was announced by Visit Qatar at the venue. The fireworks will happen at 9 pm.
The three-day Eid Festival, which kicked off today in Corniche, saw large turnout as exciting events unfolded from the evening including food and game stalls, concerts and fireworks.
Visit Qatar also confirmed that the balloon parade will take place tomorrow, May 4, 2022.
The parade scheduled for 4:30 was rescheduled to 9:30 pm due to the weather conditions was eventually cancelled by the organisers. The parade will return tomorrow.
