Doha: QNB Stars League (QSL) side Al Arabi Sports Club yesterday announced the signing of defender Ahmed Suhail for the 2022/2023 season.
Al Arabi stated through its official account on Twitter that Suhail, who left defending QSL champions Al Sadd, will join the team on loan until the end of the ongoing season.
The 23-year-old Suhail had played for Al Wakrah in the 2019/2020 season on loan, before returning to Al Sadd in August 2020.
Al Duhail lead the QSL standings, until week 12, with 26 points while Al Arabi are second with 22 points, ahead of Qatar SC (9 points).
Al Wakrah are fourth with 18 points followed by Al Ahli, who have accumulated 17 points so far.
