Senior officials of al khaliji during the Compliance and Combating Financial Crime Conference which concluded in Doha recently.
DOHA: Al Khaliji Commercial Bank (al khaliji), Qatar’s next generation bank, participated at the “Compliance and Combating Financial Crime Conference”, as the Silver Sponsor for the high-ranking gathering of bankers which was held at the Sharq Village and Spa from January 29-30.
The conference was held in the backdrop of a vastly changed landscape for financial institutions who are increasingly coping with new domestic and international risks.
For two days, the world’s foremost financial crime and compliance experts’ voices discussed matters related to financial crime risks and associated compliance obligations and how the financial institutions nowadays have to dig deeper into their customer profiles.
The conference was held under the patronage of the Qatar Central Bank Governor H E Sheikh Abdullah bin Saoud Al Thani, and hosted by the QCB, Union of Arab Banks, and World Union of Arab Banks.
