Bright Future Pakistani International School (BFPIS) elected the Students’ Council for the academic year 2014-15. Earlier this week, the students cast their votes to elect their representatives to form the Students’ Council. According to the results, Maryam Sultan of XII was elected as Head Girl, whereas Hussam Babar of XII won the position of Head Boy.
Similarly, Rida Arif of AS Level bagged highest votes for the seat of Assistant Head Girl and Abu Bakar Muhammad of XI became the Assistant Head Boy. Along with these key positions, 20 proctors from Boys’ Wing and 20 proctors from Girls’ Wing were also appointed to carry the tasks delegated to the Students’ Council.
An oath taking ceremony was organised at the school premises, where the members of the Students’ Council were sworn in before taking charge of their responsibilities. Wajid Hassan Hashmi, the first secretary at Embassy of Pakistan, was the chief guest at the ceremony.
Ali Zulqarnain, Vice Principal, BFPIS, administered the oath, as the students pledged to remain dutiful and sincere to the duties assigned to them.
Imran Waheed, Principal, BFPIS, congratulated the leaders and urged them to lead from the front and be the role models for other students.
The chief guest conferred sashes to all appointment holders of BFPIS Student’s Council. In his speech, he impressed upon the students that such forum will inculcate leadership and comradeship in their personalities.
