Doha, Qatar: As part of its strategic vision to prepare a new generation of leaders in finance and investment, Dukhan Bank organised the Next-Gen 26 Program, an integrated two-week learning experience spanning Doha and Geneva.
The programme was designed to equip the children of its key Private Banking clients with the knowledge and expertise needed to navigate a challenging financial landscape and continue managing and growing their families’ wealth across generations.
The Next-Gen 26 Program combined financial education, practical learning, and international exposure to deepen participants’ understanding of wealth planning, investment management, family governance, and the responsible transfer of wealth across generations. The programme was delivered in collaboration with Lombard Odier & Co. Ltd, a Swiss private bank.
During the Doha component, held at Dukhan Bank’s headquarters in Lusail, participants explored wealth transfer and planning, financial knowledge, macroeconomics, risk and reward, traditional and alternative asset classes, structured products, investment management, portfolio construction, and performance evaluation.
Ahmed I. Hashem, Acting Group Chief Executive Officer of Dukhan Bank, said, “Through the Next-Gen 26 Program, we sought to provide participants with practical financial knowledge, exposure to international expertise, and a deeper appreciation of responsible, long-term decision-making.”
