The Ministry of Economy and Commerce, during inspection raids, has caught 12 violations for selling products without licence. The Ministry has transferred street vendors to authorities concerned for violating rules.
The raids were conducted by the Ministry in collaboration with the Ministry of Interior against street vendors at Al Corniche to see if they were complying with rules.
The campaign was conducted under the Ministry's initative launched during Ramadan under the slogan ‘The Least We Can Do'.
The Ministry of Economy and Commerce said it would increase its inspection to ban such illegal activities carried by illegal vendors. Strict actions will taken against violators.
