Doha, Qatar: Qatar Tourism, in a circular issued to hotel establishment managers, requested the managers extend guests’ accommodation from February 28 until airport operations resume and the airspace reopens.

Qatar Tourism explained in the circular that this move comes in light of the current circumstances, and due to some of the guests’ stay having ended, with them remaining unable to depart due to travel restrictions.

The tourism department also announced that it will cover the additional costs incurred, noting that the “safety, security and wellbeing of all visitors remain among our highest priorities.”
