Doha: Starz Play, the fastest growing on-demand video streaming service in the Mena region, and Ooredoo, announced yesterday a new collaboration to provide a vast catalogue of premium Hindi content for viewers to enjoy on their Ooredoo tv.
The new Bollywood content will further supplement Starz Play’s existing 10,000 hours of the best Hollywood movies, documentaries, children’s entertainment, same-day-as-the-US series, and Arabic content in full HD and 4K.
Existing and new customers can now access the new Hindi content by simply pressing the ‘Home’ button on their Ooredoo tv remote control, then selecting ‘Clubs’ and the ‘Yupp Flix’ icon on the main screen.
All new Ooredoo Fibre Home Entertainment customers can enjoy free access to the Starz Play service, and Ooredoo tv customers not on the new Fibre plans can subscribe to Starz Play for as little as QR50 per month.

Starz Play has confirmed that the service will also be offering content in other Indian regional languages such as Tamil and Malayalam in the near future which will also be available to Ooredoo tv customers.
Ooredoo tv is available now via Ooredoo Shops, Starlink, TechnoBlue and Jumbo outlets. The service has no upfront charges, no equipment costs and no ongoing contracts. Furthermore, existing Mozaic TV customers who migrate to Ooredoo tv will be awarded a 30-day free subscription to Starz Play.
