The Ministry of Public Health concluded the new employee qualification programme aiming to raise the efficiency of new employees and is one of the programmes developed by the Ministry, 13 employees took part in the programme.
The Assistant Undersecretary for Shared Services Affairs at the Ministry Abdullah Al Emadi said that the percentage of Qatarisation in the Ministry is very high, especially in the administrative professions, and this come as an implementation of Qatar National Strategy 2030, which emphasizes the need to pay attention to national cadres and to prepare them to engage in the labour market. Al Emadi added that the programme, organised by the Ministry of Public Health in coordination with the Qatar Training Center, aims to raise the capacity of employees affiliated with the Ministry who graduates of the secondary school or universities in the administrative and medical sectors and enable them to master skills and to deal with the challenges they face at work.
He pointed out that the Ministry is concerned with all the human elements working under its umbrella, especially from the national cadres.
Cooperation in this framework is carried out with the Ministry of Administrative Development, Labor and Social Affairs which offers a number of courses to serve the career path of employees not only for the purpose of levelling their degree but also for their rehabilitation and development of their skills.
The Human Resources Specialist at the Ministry of Public Health’s Human Resources Department and responsible for the new employee’s programme Essa Al Suwaidi, said that the programme started at the beginning of this year and lasted for four months. It included seven basic courses that establish the new employee to be able to work in the administrative or health sector, pointing out that the number of graduates are 13 out of 15 employees, they will receive a certificate of accreditation from Cambridge Training College, and the performance of graduates will be evaluated every two weeks.
