Doha Institute for Graduate Studies and Turkey’s Ibn Haldun University (IHU) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to enhance aspects of cooperation between the two sides in the field of higher education as well as academic and research areas of common concern.
Doha Institute for Graduate Studies’ Acting President Dr Yasir Suleiman Malley signed the agreement along with IHU President Dr Recep Senturk in the presence of a number of officials and teaching staff from the two institutions.
The memorandum, which was signed at the institute’s headquarters included clauses on cooperation in the field of student exchange, providing financial and procedural support to facilitate student participation in the different academic activities, in addition to holding joint workshops and summer school programs.
The clauses also indicate that the two entities aim to promote research and scientific work, hold conferences, empower academics and researchers to benefit from the academic and scientific sources available at the two institutions, in addition to encouraging joint research work. Since its establishment, Doha Institute for Graduate Studies has inked nearly 40 MoUs.
