Doha, Qatar: The Sheikh Abdulla Bin Zaid Al Mahmoud Islamic Cultural Center has concluded its participation in Qatar’s pavilion at Expo 2025 in Osaka, Japan. The participation featured a variety of activities aimed at showcasing Islamic culture and Qatari values.

The pavilion included the distribution of a diverse collection of publications highlighting the richness of Islamic culture, along with a special corner for Arabic calligraphy that reflected the beauty and artistic depth of this traditional art.  Visitors were captivated by the interactive experience of having their names written in Arabic calligraphy. The pavilion also screened the documentary “Journey of Arabic Calligraphy,” translated into Japanese, which drew significant interest and engagement from attendees.

The Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs emphasised that the center’s participation represented the Ministry’s commitment to promoting Qatar’s cultural and civilizational presence on international platforms and to highlighting Islamic arts as a reflection of the grandeur and unique contributions of Islamic civilization.
