Doha, Qatar: HEC Paris, Doha celebrated the graduation of the first cohort from its Executive MBA - Emerging Leaders Track (ELT), marking a significant milestone for the globally ranked business school as it broadens its leadership development offering for the next generation of executives in Qatar and the wider region.

HEC Paris, Doha is proud to mark the graduation of the inaugural Executive MBA Emerging Leadership Track cohort at the Paris Commencement ceremony. This milestone marks the successful completion of a transformative leadership journey for a group of ambitious professionals who are shaping the future of business in Qatar and the wider region.

The first graduating Class of 2026 represents a diverse group of participants from a range of industries and backgrounds, united by a desire to sharpen their strategic thinking, strengthen their leadership capabilities and accelerate their long-term impact within their organizations.

The programme combines core business disciplines with leadership development, international exposure, specialization opportunities, and a capstone project, enabling participants to translate classroom learning into tangible organizational value.

Delivered in a part-time, modular format, it has been designed to allow participants to continue progressing professionally while developing the proficiency, perspective and confidence needed to take on broader leadership responsibilities.

This graduation marks a significant milestone in the continued evolution of HEC Paris, Doha’s Executive MBA offering. The cohort is particularly noteworthy for reflecting the ambition, talent, and diversity of the region’s future leadership landscape. Through the Emerging Leaders Track, participants have developed a strong foundation in business fundamentals while gaining the global perspective, self-awareness, and practical leadership capabilities needed to navigate complexity, drive transformation, and create lasting value within their organizations and industries.

Participants have the opportunity to choose from a broad range of international specialization modules aligned with today’s most in-demand sectors, including AI, healthcare, energy, luxury, entrepreneurship, and many others.

Delivered across the global ecosystem of HEC Paris in cities such as Paris, London, Frankfurt, New York, Singapore, and Milan, among other leading international hubs, these modules provide direct exposure to diverse markets and business environments. The learning journey culminates in a capstone project focused on real-life business challenges, enabling participants to apply their knowledge in a practical and impactful context.

For participants, the experience has been as much about personal transformation as professional advancement. Maryam Al Darwish highlighted the transformative impact of the programme on her professional journey and the value of applying its insights to drive meaningful results and foster collaboration. “My journey at HEC Paris, Doha has been both rewarding and transformative. Applying my learnings across the Maryam Al Darwish Group companies, I have strengthened brand positioning, refined strategy, and contributed to long-term results.”

For Pawel Marciniak, who joined the programme as a fly-in participant, the international dimension of the experience proved especially valuable. “The Emerging Leaders Track, Executive MBA allowed me to expand my network beyond Europe, immerse myself in the region’s culture, and gain insights I can apply immediately in my career.”
