Doha: The Ministry of Public Health announced that the results of laboratory analyses of samples of instant noodles from the "Indomie" brand offered in the local market showed their safety and suitability for human consumption.
The ministry had withdrawn the samples and referred them for laboratory analysis, as a precautionary measure, after what was circulated regarding Indomie's chicken and vegetable flavoured instant noodles with chilli packet "are unfit for human consumption".
The ministry clarified that all imported food products traded in the local market outlets are subject to verification of health requirements to ensure their safety and compliance with approved standard specifications.
