Qatar Chamber (QC) yesterday held a meeting with a delegation of representatives of the Ankara Metal Products Exporters Association where they discussed the prospects of cooperation between the two sides. During the event, meetings for future trade delegations to explore new partnerships and investment opportunities have also been arranged.

During the meeting, QC First Vice-Chairman Mohamed bin Ahmed bin Towar Al Kuwari introduced the Chamber’s services to the business sector in Qatar and abroad. He also stressed the importance of cooperation with the Turkish private sector by Qatari businessmen and investors.

He also stressed the willingness of the Chamber to cooperate with the Ankara Metal Products Exporters Association and highlighted the opportunities offered to Qatari companies interested in this sector, reports QNA.

Chairman of Ankara Metal Products Exporters Association Serafettin Ceceli said the members of the Ankara Metal Products Exporters Association are interested in exploring the investment climate in Qatar, and added that investment opportunities are available in a number of sectors related to construction and contracting, in addition to discussing the possibility of cooperation to supplying the Qatari market with metal products.

He also pointed to the importance of the metal product sector, which is considered one of the main sectors in Turkey, with exports representing about 13 percent of the total Turkish exports. Ceceli also reviewed the potential and activities of the association, which has about 2000 members and aims to link its exporters with business owners, investors and other entrepreneurs.
