UZBEKISTAN: Qatar’s Faris Hassouna finished with a rich haul at the Asian Youth and Junior Weightlifting Championship clinching three gold medals in the event which got over here on Sunday.
The 19 - year old Qatari weightlifter sparkled and made impressive performance in the 95kg event to claim three gold medals in the prestigious event that brought together top weightlifters from Iran, China, Japan, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.
The event acts as a qualifying tournament to the 2018 IWF Youth World Championships will take place in Argentina in October.
