Doha: GWC, a leading logistics provider in the State of Qatar, yesterday announced that it will provide SMEs which are importing critical medical supplies for the fight against COVID-19 with free customs clearance and transportation services, for a period of 3-months starting today.
This announcement comes in line with the directives of the Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani to support the SMEs in tackling financial consequences of COVID-19.
“Our various financial relief programmes for the SME sector during the COVID-19 response is an extension of our dedication towards delivering the nation’s needs and our solidarity with its people,” GWC Group CEO Ranjeev Menon said in a statement.
Earlier in March, GWC has announced 3-month rent waiver for retail outlets and 6-month rental discounts for SME warehouse tenants at the GWC Bu Sulba Warehousing Park.
