Doha: The Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani tweeted congratulating the winners of the Education Excellence Award 2021 and said that their excellence will be an incentive for the advancement of the country and society.
“Innovation and excellence are a priority in our strategic plans, in which education is its first pillar. I congratulate the educationally distinguished for their deserved excellence, hoping that the diversity of their fields, experiences and certificates will be an incentive for more positive competition and a support for the advancement of the country and society,” HH the Amir tweeted.
The Amir patronized the 14th Education Excellence Day Award ceremony, which took place at Doha Sheraton Hotel on Monday morning and honoured the winners of the Education Excellence Award at the ceremony.
The Amir also met the winners of the awards and praised the students' education performance and their distinguished efforts, despite the circumstances of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic that affected the whole world, noting the importance of continuing the journey of excellence and acquiring scientific knowledge.
